July 9, 2026 - WorldView 3D Tasking​

Tasking now supports collecting elevation data directly with WorldView 3D.

June 11, 2026 - Object Detection Model Versioning​

Versioned models are now available in Object Detection ordering, starting with the release of Maritime Vessels V5.

June 4, 2026 - Raptor Encrypted Data API Ordering (Limited Release)​

Select Raptor users can now order encrypted terrain data from the ordering API. See Raptor 3d Ordering.

Introducing the new Hub Status Page. All notifications will be posted here beginning May 8, and the previous dashboard will be retired.

Tasking API updates​

Stereo tasking via API is now available in the FlexView tier. See FlexView Parameters for more information.

Private tasking via API is also available to accounts with this capability enabled. Contact your Vantor sales representative if you are interested in enabling private tasking. Both FlexView and FastView tiers allow private tasking.

LLM Integration​

The Hub Developer Docs now supports the llms-txt standard. Markdown versions of all pages are available. In addition, at the top of each page's content is a dropdown that lets you copy or view a markdown version of the page, or directly send the page content to ChatGPT or Claude.

March 4, 2026 - WorldView™ Radar Tasking (BETA)​

WorldView Radar provides very high resolution synthetic aperture radar (SAR) point target tasking access for all-weather intelligence, delivering 24/7 collection capabilities to support everything from crisis response to change monitoring. WorldView Radar is made possible through the Vantor™ Virtual Constellation, enabling customers to task our partner Umbra’s highly agile SAR constellation, which can collect imagery at night as well as through clouds and smoke as fine as 25 cm ground-projected resolution.

If you are interested in being part of the beta program, please contact your Vantor Sales Representative to determine eligibility.

March 1, 2026 - ArcMap Plugin and WCS Deprecated​

The ArcMap Plugin has been removed as Esri has retired the ArcMap application.

Image Streaming WCS has reach end-of-life and is no longer available.

February 12, 2026 - Hub version 1.12.0​

WorldView Tasking Feasibility Endpoint​

The new WorldView Tasking "Feasibility" endpoint was designed to support FlexView use cases when near term weather forecasts are not yet available for the order period. This endpoint will estimate how likely tasking collection will succeed over a given area during a given collection window,ßbased on demand and historical cloud cover estimates.

New Deprecations​

  • Account Services (Admin) v1 API: deprecated on February 12, 2026 end of life on May 13, 2026; migrate to Account Services v2 (see API docs).
  • Usage Service v1 API: deprecated on February 12, 2026; end of life on May 13, 2026; migrate to Usage Service v2 (see API docs).
  • Output_config delivery format in Ordering API: deprecated on February 12, 2026; end of life on May 13, 2026; switch to output_configs delivery format.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) coming to the Vantor Hub UI​

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – Beginning March 19, 2026, MFA will be mandatory for all users. This security enhancement protects your data and strengthens overall platform integrity. As part of this transition, shared accounts will be phased out. API key lifetimes will remain unchanged at this time.

Vantor URL Changes coming later this year​

As part of the Vantor rebrand, the API base URLs and select platform components will transition to updated naming conditions in 2026. A migration guide and timeline will be shared by March 2026. A 90-day transition window will ensure both legacy and updated API paths remain available during migration.

The Account Services (Admin) API V1 endpoints are now deprecated and will be retired on March 9, 2026. If you are using either of the following:

Bruno "Account Services" collection update

An updated "Account Services" Bruno collection is available with the following changes:

  • The Usage API is now part of the Account Services collection.

  • The "Update a User" request has been fixed to include the required user ID field.
